SCHOOL!

It's official. Kaleb is a student at Williams Ranch.

We went up to the school Friday evening because they listed the class rossiter and we were all anxious to find out who his teacher was and see what kids were in his class. Not only did Kaleb get the teacher he wanted (Mrs. Crews), but he is also in the same class with 2 kids that he knows! This was so important to me because I wanted him to know at least one kid in his class and he does!

So we walked around the school and got acquainted.

They will be tending to their very own garden.

Classroom (so organized) I'm assuming that a teacher with 23 years of experience
has this down to a science!

Reassurance

There are 2 kindergarten classes and he has twenty-one kids in his classroom. He is the only Kaleb, though there is a Noah. Will Kaleb and Noah become friends? :)
They do have a teacher's aid and the school encourages parent involvement in the form of classroom volunteerism. I'm hoping to get in the classroom a couple times a month once I figure out an arrangement for Jaxon.

School is from 8:10-2:10 Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday.
Wednesday's are minimum days and go from 8:10-12:25.

The first day was only an hour which included orientation and a school tour.
Kaleb confessed he was "bored."

Second day will be the real test!
Afterward, we met up with our lake day group for fun in the sun and frozen yogurt after. It was a fun "first day."
